I get disconnected for “inadequate OS priveleges.” Vista- Right click the bf2 icon on the desktop and select “RUN AS” and then input your username and password. You must be an administrator.
I get kicked for A1392 CL . What is that? That means you need to update your PunkBuster, and make sure your pb is enabled on the server browser screen. Update Pb by downloading pbsetup.exe from the download page or www.evenbalance.com.
I get kicked for Punkbuster A or B . Download pbsvc.exe from the download page or www.evenbalance.com . This program will repair PB system.

Try this- change the priorities for punkbuster B in processes to “High” , and pb A to above normal. This has worked in Win 7 rc as well. You may have to start the game for the punkbuster B process to get started.
